Accomodation Terms and Conditions

All customers please note.

We appreciate your co-operation and understanding on the terms and conditions outlined below and our agreement is formed upon receipt of the required deposit payment or formal confirmation of a booking made. Where discounts are available only one discount will apply per booking. Booking terms and Conditions - Sunnyside Farmhouse bed and breakfast;

Bookings for all male/ female single groups are not allowed.
Your room can be occupied from 2pm of your day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure.
Wyreside Lakes Fishery does not accept any liability for any personal injury, sickness and loss or damage to personal property - however caused. this includes loss/ theft of property and or money.
Pets are not allowed.
No cots are provided but you are welcome to bring a travel cot.
No persons under the age of 15 are allowed to stay in any of the farmhouse bedrooms without an adult being present.
As a deposit the first nights stay must be paid to secure your booking. Our bookings are taken over the telephone / by email. Deposits must be paid over the telephone with a debit / credit card - we no longer accept cheques or amex. All credit cards (namely visa and mastercard) will carry a surcharge of 1.5%. Once the deposit has been received confirmation will be sent and the balance is required on arrival. In the event of cancellation of your part your deposit will be lost. We reserve the right to cancel any bookings if necessary, however we will endeavour to find you an alternative accomodation in our Scandinavian Lodge or give you a full refund.
Accommodation Guests who are staying at Wyreside Lakes are entitled to a 20% discount on any fishing permits (from March 1st until October 31st only). When promotional discounts are enforced, the cheapest rate will be discounted.
We reserve the right to terminate any letting in the event that the hirer or any of the hirer's party, are seen to cause any deliberate or negligenty damage to the property of behaves in such a way to constiture a nuisance to any of the neighbouring customers. in any such case the hirer will be liable for any damages and will not receive a refund
The rooms are equipped with a TV and beverage making faclities.
For your convienience there is a shop and launderette located in the main building.
Only guests registered in the B&B are allowed in the guest house-visitors are not allowed - you are welcome to use the bar and restaurant to meet up with any other persons. This aslo includes any guests staying in other accomodation at Wyreside Lakes such as the campsite or the lodge.

Booking terms and Conditions - Scandivian Lodge;

The lodge sleeps a maximum of 8 people only.
Bookings for all male/ female single groups are not allowed.
The Lodge can be occupied from 2pm of your day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

Cost of heating and cooking are included in our rental charge.
Pets are allowed (maximum of 2) - dogs must be kept on a lead around the property and must not be allowed in the bedrooms or on any of the lounge furniture. please observe that we are on farmland and there is livestock surrounding the caravan park/ fishery.

Bed linen and tea towels are provided but not bathroom towels.
The lodge is equipped with a TV/ DVD player, CD music player and full cooking facilities including a microwave.
There is a shop and launderette located in the main building.
The lodge muct be treated with respect. please leave it clean and tidy, and remember to switch off the lights, water pump and the immersion heater when not in use.
An inventory is taken of all contents in the lodge. this inentory will be checked before and after your stay. should there be any loss/ damages (including lodge keys) they must be paid for - your credit/ debit card will be debited with the amount and you will be contacted within one week of your departure.

Booking Terms and Conditions- Camping and Caravan Site:

All our bookings are taken over the telephone / by email. If a deposit is required the money must be paid over the telephone with a debit / credit card - we no longer accept cheques or amex. Then a email confirmation will be sent with arrival and departure times.

There is a car park charge in force for any non guest visitors to the site - £1 per day - please keep your ticket - this is redeemable if £3 or over is spent in the bar or restaurant.
There is a 10% discount available for any camping bookings over 7 nights.
All weekend electric bookings must be for 2 nights minimum from the Friday and during all bank holidays a 3 night minimum from the Friday.

If a booking has been made (without a deposit)- and the customer cancels and does not give us 24hrs prior notice - they will be liable to pay costs up to (but not exceeding) 50% of the total booking fee.
We are strictly a family / Adult camp site only. We do not allow young or single sex groups. We also have a limit on group bookings - please telephone 01524 792093 for further details.
Any refunds or credit notes will be given at the discretion of the management and based on individual circumstances.
We will not accept late arrivals unless we are previously notified so that we can allocate a seperate space. Some of the camp grounds are not lit at night and we do not want to disturb our guests that may have young children already asleep. We appreciate your co-operation and understanding on these points.

On- site Terms and Conditions - Camping and Caravanning:

1. All site fees must be paid on arrival. All campers and their visitors MUST register at the site office before going onto site
2. Arrival time is from 12.00 pm onwards until 8.00 p m. Departure is by 12.00 am on day of departure.
3. We do not allow stag/ hen parties, groups or multi bookings. Single sex booking of more than two adults will be considered on merit. (None declared groups that have booked pitches individually under different names will forfeit their pitch without any refund of any fees paid).
4. All customers are to act with consideration for others, and to observe these park rules and to keep the site quiet, treat the facility block with respect and leave it and the site clean and tidy and to pick your litter up. Therefore, as we are a family site, we have a no noise policy from 11pm.
5. No anti social or drunken behaviour CONSIDERATE CAMPERS ONLY
6. The main gate locked at 10.30pm every night, however the foot gate is always open and if access from the site is needed throughout the night cars can be parked in the laybys. For gate opening times please check the gatepost sign or ask a member of staff.
7. Please retain your receipt as you may be asked to present it as proof of payment..
8. Post or Telephone messages are not relayed onto the site. A Payphone is located opposite the side entrance to the Fisherman’s Bar and Restaurant. Please ask if you require change.
9. No persons allowed near the farm building, livestock or machinery.
10. All waste and rubbish must be placed in the skips provided. In the unlikely event that the skips are full - all rubbish must be placed in black bin liners and tied securely. White plastic carrier bags are not acceptable. Due to the environmental issue the waste refuse collected from this site is domestic waste only, Household waste such as carpets, BBQ’s, Garden accessories and / or any other forms of non-domestic waste are not allowed, please take these home. Please recycle cardboard, paper, tins and glass in the recycling centre and if anyone is found putting waste in the recycle bins they will forfeit their pitch without refund.
11. Adults are responsible for children in their care. Children must be supervised at ALL times by a parent or guardian. No unaccompanied children are allowed in the facility block or to be left on site unattended . Ball games are only allowed on the ball area only, under no circumstances are children to play around the tents, holiday homes or driveways. Please observe that the campsite is adjacent to 7 fishing waters and the river Wyre.
12. Wyreside Lakes accepts no liability for any accidents in the children’s play area so please supervise your children carefully whilst using this facility.
13. When using hook-up points, please remember that they are 10 amps and the relevant low volt camping equipment should be used. Household 13 amp appliances will trip your electric supply.
14. No refunds of camp site fees are given due to bad weather. No refunds of deposits are given for cancelations under any circumstances. As payments are not refundable once made, we recommend that you take out the adequate holiday insurance to cover any lost you may incur should you need to cancel.
15. Bookings made and accepted in the name of the person making the booking are not transferable.
16. Any damages to the property of Wyreside Lakes must be paid for. Wyreside Lakes accepts no responsibility for loss or damage of personal belongings whilst visiting the site.
17. DISPOSABLE BBQ’S AND OPEN FIRES ARE NOT ALLOWED. Any cooking equipment – on stands / legs – lifted off the ground are welcome. No burning or scorching the grass and strictly no coals are allowed in the camp site bins.
18. Please respect the licensing laws. Under no circumstances will children be served any alcohol or tobacco, however they may purchase soft drinks and confectionary from the bar until 9pm daily.
19. Please note that the farmhouse B&B is private (except to guests) and there is no access through its courtyard, gates or gardens.
20. Please remember that anglers are also patrons of Wyreside Lakes. Please do not walk around the estate in large groups and do not walk around the lakes after dark.
21. Each camping field has its own water supply and fire points. Please ensure you know where they are. There are 3 Elsan and waste water points around the site – please ask a member of staff for further details.
22. Should you discover a fire please use the nearest alarm - if outdoors a bell / claxon can be used – if inside the main building there are push button points and a fire alarm will sound. Immediately afterwards you should either dial 999 (if you have a mobile) stating the Wyreside address or notify a member of staff at reception to contact the fire brigade. Please take note of where all the fire escape routes are when using the facilities in the main building. The assembly point is in the main car park.
23. All dogs must be kept under control and on a lead in populated areas. Any dog waste must be collected and placed in the skips – poop bags are available in the site shop. The management has discretion regarding the acceptance of dogs on the site and this is on the condition that the dog owner accepts full responsibility, keeps the dog on a lead at all times when on site. All fouling must be cleaned up by the dog owners, dogs are by arrangement only. DOGS MUST NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED.
24. Please leave the communal toilets / showers clean and tidy for the use of other guests. The outside sinks are for dish washing only.
25. Please drive carefully when on the property and observe the speed limits at all times. Remember - children are at play.
26. Please Note: Any person who, in the view of the proprietors, cause undue disturbance or who fails to adhere to the above terms, conditions and site rules, will forfeit their pitch without a refund.

These rules and regulations are there to ensure all visitors at Wyreside Lakes have a safe and happy stay. Any persons found not complying with any of the above regulations will immediately be asked to leave without refund.
