Our award winning campsite - (families & responsible adult couples only-please click to see booking terms and conditions) has a full range of facilities for overnight stays including grass electric pitches for caravans, campervans and motor homes and lush green fields for tents to camp on. There is toilet and shower block including a disabled / baby changing room and also an onsite shop and launderette.
For the children there is a safe outdoor play area and lots of wildlife and a wood to investigate - Please note: the river Wyre runs adjacent to the wood and can be very dangerous. Please do not allow your children to roam unattended or swim in the river. The nearest public swimming baths are at Garstang (5 min drive away). Children are also allowed in the club house in the evenings (accompanied by their parents / guardians)

Unfortunately due to our rural location we are not on any main bus routes - the nearest route into Lancaster or Preston is on the A6 at Galgate and is about 1 hours walk from Wyreside. The nearest train station is Lancaster and this is approx 8 miles from Wyreside. We have several taxi firm contact details and we will be happy to assist you if you require alternative methods of transport.

The surroundings at Wyreside are very natural and peaceful. Many of our guests come to take in the views and relax. We provide entertainment in the Fisherman's rest (Weekends only and throughout the summer holidays) for all those who wish to have a livelier environment. With respect we ask our guests not play any loud music on the campsite and that any noise in general (generators / party games etc) cease by 11pm. We also ask our guests not to light any open campfires and we do not allow disposable BBQ's and all traditional barbeques must be lifted off the ground - as not to scorch the grass.

Our site gate is locked from 10.30pm until 7am in the morning - during the spring / summer / autumn seasons. If you have any emergencies (hospital etc) or you wish to report any disputes or disrespectful behaviour you can contact our bailiffs on 07739039307 or 07947772026.

We also have Gas Cylinders (and refills) for sale, including butane and propane all at competitive prices.

Not all pitches (tent and caravan) are level -some are sloping. The top field has a steeper gradient than the lower fieild. The campsite is open from February the 12th until January 2nd the following year - each year. However the fields may not be accessible during severe wet weather conditions.
