Seasonal Caravan Pitches
Terms and Conditions 2012
1. This contract supersedes any previous contracts or agreements between Wyreside Lakes and its caravan members.
2. Wyreside lakes fishery accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings whilst visitors and caravans are on the site. We accept no liability for accidents in the children's play area so please supervise your children whilst using this facility. Dogs are not allowed in the children’s play area.
3. All membership fees are for a 10.5 month period from 14th February until the 3rd January annually. The 2012 season is £1,650 and if you require winter storage this will be an extra £50. Annually in December we will require your bond payment (December 11 amounts are £200 or £150 without storage) as an advance to secure your place for the forthcomming season. If you do not return to us in February the following year you will forfeit this deposit. The payment structure is by standing order for the 1st of every month from February until and including November. The standing order mandate should be taken to your bank for instruction. Your initial payment must be on the 1st of February annually. If you fail to keep your payments to date we reserve the right to move your caravan into a holding area and sell your space. You will then be asked to clear your account and vacate the campsite without refund of your bond payment. If you abandon your caravan for a period of 6 months we reserve the right to sell the caravan at a reasonable price in order to pay the arrears and excess money will not be refunded.
4. If you leave the campsite part way through the season you must provide one month’s notice in writing. Any monies overpaid or bond payments will not be refunded.
5. You have unlimited access to your caravan during the open season. However, you are not allowed to use your caravan for the purpose of a sole residence. You cannot use your caravan for a period longer than 28 consecutive days.
6. Sub letting of caravans is not allowed, however shared ownership and family usage is permitted. You are allowed to have a total not exceeding 3 guest families / couples who can use your caravan in your absence. However these guests must read the contract and will have to sign underneath to confirm they have read and understood the details within and agree to abide by them. You must indicate any guest names at the start of this seasons contract, guests cannot be added part way throughout the term of the contract. Your guests conduct will impact on your membership and if they or any of their party is in breach of the signed contract, Wyreside lakes reserve the right to terminate your membership and you will have to vacate your pitch without any refund.
7. All hook-ups must be disconnected when caravan is not in use. They must be lifted and secured where possible and buried where there are no wooden staves. They must not contraviene any health and safety risk assessments or policies.
8. All guests must come and SIGN IN at RECEPTION when entering the fishery. We must have an account of who is on site at all times for security and fire regulations. You must also indicate in the book how many days you have stayed on the site when signing out.
9. Any damages to the Wyreside property must be paid for. If you notice any damages or potentially dangerous areas, please notify a senior member of staff immediately.
10. All members’ caravans must provide copy evidence of inspection and electrical testing-for Health and Safety and fire regulations. This document must be within 3 years validity.
11. All members must provide copy evidence of their annual caravan insurance before the vans will be allowed onto any pitches. Paperwork must be in validity at all times.
12. All external gas canisters must be secured either by chain or tied to your caravan (generally the ‘A’ frame) for health and safety purposes.
13. Children must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian. They must not be left anywhere on the property unattended. Please remember that we are adjacent to 7 lakes and the river Wyre & that we are in open countryside.
14. Please respect the licensing law and take notice of the licensing terms and conditions. Under no circumstances will children be served alcohol at the bar. Children are not allowed change (or to) purchase cigarettes for adults. Confectionary and soft drinks will be available in the shop / behind the restaurant bar.
15. Please note we are a non- smoking facility and we uphold a zero tolerance to drugs policy. All members who smoke must behave responsibly and set an example to other guests by smoking only in the designated areas.
16. Please respect private entrances. There is no public access through the gates / gardens of the farmhouse.
17. All dogs must be kept under control and all dog waste must be collected and disposed of appropriately. Dogs must not be left unattended in cars or caravans and must wear a collar and identity tag at all times. Your dog can be let off the lead in Fox’s wood for exercise.
18. All pitches provide 10amps to each unit. Electric fires are not allowed. Gas fires and the appropriate caravan friendly electrical appliances should be used.
19. Disposable BBQ’s are not allowed. Traditional BBQ’s are welcome.
20. Only domestic waste can be disposed of in the bin area. Waste such as: carpets, BBQ’s, camping & gardening equipment etc cannot be placed in the skips or left at the fishery. Please ensure that you dispose of litter in the areas provided.
21. When you depart in January, you must remove all items from your pitch area, including awnings, outdoor furniture and games. All areas must be cleared for maintenance purposes, any items left will be thrown away.
22. For the convenience and welfare of our guests we reserve the right to terminate your membership (without refund) if you or members of your party cause any un-lawful damage to the property of Wyreside Lakes, or the property of others and/or display anti-social behaviour that may impair the enjoyment & comfort of other guests.
23. Noise of any kind (outdoor music, generators and party games) must cease by 9pm.
24. Awnings can be erected from the start of the season but must be taken down by October 31st each consecutive year.
25. Members must understand that if they sell or gift their caravan, the new owner does not have the right to access and continue the membership of the previous owner.
