Fishing Terms and Conditions

Booking Terms and Conditions - Fishing:

  • We require a 50% non refundable deposit on all overnight bookings for fishing. The balance will be payable on the day of arrival. Sometimes in the winter months you will not be asked to pay a deposit for singular bookings - this is at the discretion of the management at Wyreside Lakes.

  • All our bookings are taken over the telephone / by email. Deposits must be paid over the telephone with a debit / credit card - we no longer accept cheques or amex. All credit cards (namely visa and mastercard) will carry a surcharge of 1.5%.

  • All monies paid are non-refundable -except when the fault lies with Wyreside Lakes. With regards to closures of the waters - for example during freezing conditions - anglers will be given a credit note to continue their session on another date. Any other circumstances where refunds or credit notes are to be issued will be given at the discretion of the management and based on individual merit.
  • All anglers are allowed a maximum of 2 visitors throughout the day at any one time. All visitors must report into reception and sign in, stating their reason for visiting and they must purchase a car parking pass. All day visitors must have left the site by the time stipulated at reception (alters with daylight hours over the year generally no later than 8pm during the summer months and 5pm during the winter months).
  • Anglers are only allowed spouses, partners or children as overnight guests - strictly no male adult guests are allowed - this is a strict rule and there are charges in force - please see campsite price list for applicable charges.
  • Bookings will be held until 8pm (Monday to Thursday) because of working hours. At weekends (Friday and Saturday) bookings will be held until 5pm unless we are previously notified of a late arrival.
  • Saturday 24hr bookings- all anglers should arrive after midday on the Saturday as anglers from Friday will be departing in the afternoon.
  • Wyreside Lakes reserves the right to make any changes to individual or lake bookings if necessary.
  • All over night anglers must be over 18 - proof of identity may be required. Please see the children’s fishing page for further information for anglers under this age.
  • Wyreside Lakes accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage to any individual's property or personal belongings whilst visiting the fishery. All anglers fish at their own risk.
  • Bank Holidays - all lakes (except Fox's coarse lake) are a min of 48hr booking on all public Bank Holidays.
  • Fishing admission times are: No fisherman are admitted after dark
     

      - 8am - 5pm November to January
      - 8am - 6pm February to March

      - 7am - 8pm April to June

      - 7am - 9pm July to August
      - 7am - 7pm September and October

  • Accommodation Guests who are staying at Wyreside Lakes are entitled to a 20% discount on any fishing permits (from March 1st until October 31st only).
  • Wyreside Lakes reserves the right to make any changes to individual or lake bookings if necessary.

BETWEEN MARCH AND OCTOBER ANNUALLY THERE WILL BE A 15% DISCOUNT OFF ALL LISTED FISHING TICKET PRICES FOR:

SENIOR CITIZENS (OVER 65)
DISABLED BADGE HOLDERS - MUST BE SHOWN AT RECEPTION.
EMERGENCY SERVICE EMPLOYEES AND MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES.
STUDENT CARDS
ALL MEMBERSHIP CARDS MUST BE IN VALIDITY AND SHOWN AT RECEPTION TO REDEEM THE  DISCOUNTED RATE - NO PROOF - NO DISCOUNT!
