An
good report this week -out of most of the waters - despite the colder
temperatures and Sunny 2
still going great guns! We seem to be having an 'Indian Summer' at the
moment and the lakes are still busy at the weekends - booking is still
essential. Just to remind you that we will be starting winter opening
hours (from 8am) when the clocks go forward in October.
Have a look at the fish gallery for some new additions! FOR INFORMATION ON CARP, COARSE OR PIKE FORUMS OR MATCHES PLEASE TELEPHONE SALLY ON 01524 792093 OR EMAIL wyresidelakes@btconnect.com If
you have fished with us and didn’t make a catch report - please let me
know either by email or phone at wyresidelakes@btconnect.com.

Darren Johnson – Wyre Lake - Dropscale 35lbs 3oz – New MemberSetup
on the back of the cold northeasterly wind on the point 8am where I
stayed for 1 hour, I then decided to risk moving into the wind and got
my rods out on the helipad for 9am and around 9.15am I got a run on my
left rod which I fished to a hard spot at 50yrds range with a
scattering of a handful of freebies, scopex squid liver plus was
presented on 8 inch strip tease hook length incorporating a size 7 fang
x. It was only my third session on the lake since I join at the start
of April and would have been happy to catch any fish let alone
Dropscale! My previous pb was 26lb 8oz which I caught in January so I
was well chuffed when Andy told me which fish I had in the net. I
haven’t stopped smiling yet!
Stuart

caught! All in all a good session was had!!
