Darren Johnson – Wyre Lake - Dropscale 35lbs 3oz – New Member
Setup on the back of the cold northeasterly wind on the point 8am where I stayed for 1 hour, I then decided to risk moving into the wind and got my rods out on the helipad for 9am and around 9.15am I got a run on my left rod which I fished to a hard spot at 50yrds range with a scattering of a handful of freebies, scopex squid liver plus was presented on 8 inch strip tease hook length incorporating a size 7 fang x. It was only my third session on the lake since I join at the start of April and would have been happy to catch any fish let alone Dropscale! My previous pb was 26lb 8oz which I caught in January so I was well chuffed when Andy told me which fish I had in the net. I haven’t stopped smiling yet!

Stuart Buchannen - Banton's lake. Caught Reah’s Fish at 29lbs 12oz - fish was caught at about 70 yards range on corner of Island, fished over 2kg of B5 Essential boilies. The session was 48 hours. + New personal best!!!

John Connelly – Banton’s Lake – Day Ticket anglerFish weighed 26lb 7oz, and was taken after I cast to it after it topped out several times, it was the first time that I had fished Bantons so I was well pleased, The wind was very strong over the period that I fished but it didn't affect the fishing -I think that all the lads on the lake caught! All in all a good session was had!!

Ben Dent-Willoughby and Hamish Graham – Sunnyside 2 – Day Ticket Anglers.
We are both 17 years old. I had my 19lb mirror on an inline rig on a mid length (5inch), very supple braid rig with a barbed long shank x (korda) hook, size 8, on fruity bottom bait with a pva stick of ground bait. Hamish had his 15lb mirror on a bolt rig and again a mid length braided rig with a size 10 curve shank (korda) hook, again on a fruity bottom bait.
