SPRING NEWSLETTER 2008!

Welcome to our 2008 Newsletter. Everything starts early this year with Mothers Day on 2nd March and Easter following close on its heels! As you know the Wyreside is open all year round and from the beginning of March the Caravan & Camping facilities are open as well as the Farmhouse B & B and the Restaurant & Bar, so it is all systems go.

2007 saw the completion of our planned up-grade allowing us to offer better facilities generally but especially our 4 star campsite. A well as hard standing pitches and lush green fields for camping, we now have the new toilet and shower block, a family room and a well stocked on-site shop and launderette.
We hope you will agree the improvements work well with the exisiting Bar and Restaurant. We have a full entertainment schedule for 2008, and outside an up-graded Childrens outdoor play area and beautiful Lakeside walks. As we have 120 acres of Countryside within the site there are many outdoor activities
including hikes, cycle routes, nature trails, bird watching or fishing. If you wanted a base for your touring holiday, we are conveniently placed for the Lake District or Fylde Coast, Yorkshire and the Trough of Bowland. Being just 30 minutes from Blackpool or Preston and even closer to Lancaster, you can
check out the local attractions or even indulge in some retail therapy. We hope you find that whether Caravaning,
Camping, using the Farmhouse for Bed and Breakfast, our Scandanavian Lodge for longer stays or Fishing, Wyreside Lakes really is the place to visit in 2008. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
